Structure

The Astral Sorcery map contains a lot of new, special structures scattered randomly around the world. However, most of them have a similar role.

As mentioned earlier, the game picks up on a bit of the “mythical style” commonly seen in Thor movies and books. In this sense, all the temples and its ruins have “Greek-like” marble columns, floors, and decorations.

Despite the varying complexity in all randomly generated structures, they often contain similar loot.

So, when exploring these structures, you will usually find between 1 and 4 chests, each containing items and materials to help you progress in the mod.

Vegetation

Astral Sorcery adds a plant asset to Minecraft; “Light amaranth”. You will usually find this flower at high altitudes; it was a brilliant flower that gave off a faint light.

If you harvest Faint Amaranth, you will receive a glowing amount of rock dust, an important ingredient to use when crafting in the Astral Sorcery.

Astral Sorcery Ore

Diversifying a bit from Minecraft’s vanilla minerals, you will encounter three new ores when playing this mod.

Aquamarine Slate

You will find this mineral in rivers, lakes and similar bodies of water; they are usually next to sand clusters.
Aquamarine slate breaks easily and you won’t need any specific tools to get it.

Star ore

Early game

Now that you know some of the essential elements of the mod, it’s time to start the hustle and bustle of life.

In Minecraft Astral Sorcery, the main element of the game is crystal; With them, you can craft crystal axes, picks, shovels, and more. These tools are important to progress in the lore of the mod.

The first step is to craft the Astronomy Book; take three units of aquamarine, a “Paper” and a book. You can create “Paper” by placing four sheets of paper around an aquamarine on the crafting table. Finally, to craft the book, follow the recipe below:

After creating the booklet, it’s important to rob the constellation papers and put them in there – yes, the book stores an alternative repository just for the constellation papers; access it by holding shift and opening inventory.
Opening the book will give you access to a single chapter called “Discovery”. In this chapter, you will find all the information you need about ores, booklets, constellation papers, resonance wands, and more.
To move on to the next chapter, the player must craft a “Glow Crafting Table”.
To craft the “Glow Crafting Table” you need to follow several steps.

First, sail across the world and find a temple or ruins with a crystal floating inside; Meeting the crystal can be a long way off, so be prepared to hit the road.

Crafting Table

After finding a suitable spot, create a crafting table and place it below the crystal. At this point, you need to make sure nothing is blocking the sky from the crystal above the crafting table; this is because the mechanism works by capturing starlight directly. So you have to do this at night.

Once everything is set up, your crafting table will turn into a “Glow Crafting Table”. You must use a crystal ax or a pickaxe to lift the table.

You will need two aquamarine units, one final pearl and two marble blocks. After dropping the materials, go to the crafting table and do the following:

This wand is important for crafting anything on the glowing crafting table. So you will definitely need it in Minecraft Astral Sorcery.

At this point, you’ve noticed that the light level values of the blocks in Astral Sorcery are much higher than in normal Minecraft.

Chapter two

On the Astral Tome, you’ll notice the second chapter of the book pops up; it’s called “Explore” and it contains a lot of new stuff to craft and research.

Finally, to end this chapter, you must create a “starlight crafting altar,” which is essentially an upgrade on your glowing crafting table. So by using the Altar recipe on the glowing crafting table you will upgrade it.

Chapter three

In chapter three, you will use the crafting altar to craft new and better items. At this stage, you will be able to create a telescope – a better version of the “seeing glass!”.

This chapter introduces lenses, which are reflectors that you can place on the floor; To use them you will need to activate a floating crystal with your resonance wand.

This method works after you have selected the crystal and lens – the lens should be on the ground.

You can create multiple lens settings to make the light from the crystal travel somewhere; The main reason for doing this is to speed up the fabrication of starlight related processes. For example, you can direct this light to a “light well,” causing it to rapidly produce liquid.

The next thing the player encounters for the first time in this chapter is the “starlight transformation”.

First, bind the light from the crystal – like we discussed above – with a block of mineral ore, like iron.

Next, you’ll be able to craft a “star metal cutter”.

This tool can divide the crystal stone into different sizes and shapes; it is also possible to combine crystals by a different process using liquid starlight. Also, this tool can help you get stardust from starmetal ingots.

Then, to go further, you’ll need to create a “celestial altar”. Like the previous chapter, crafting the “starlight crafting altar” is a way to upgrade the glowing crafting table. In this chapter, you will upgrade the crafting altar to the celestial altar; This is necessary for progress.

Finally, you will discover celestial portals, which are teleportation systems.

Stellar Refraction Table: This table is a mod version of an enchanted table. To use it, you will have to combine the constellations that you have found on a parchment unit. The success rate of this type of enchantment is low and depends on the constellations in the sky and the current night time.

Crafting & Constellations: Using the Iridescent Altar you can use constellation-adjusted crystals; This is a way of “focusing” the constellation on the item you are crafting. You can do this with your wand, and here are the possible adjustments:

Discidia: Each hit to an enemy deals more damage than the last (up to 2x).

Non-Stop-Shifting Fountain: Combine the Ichosic Resonator with the Non-Stop-Shifting Fountain and Containment Cup for a drill mechanism that sucks up any underground liquid, storing it.
