The "Neighborhood Hero", Kaito loves helping others and was more than eager to accept Makoto's request to partner up with him and become a Magical Boy.

• Big Eater: Kaito loves his food, and can often be found snacking.
• Badass Adorable
• "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Kaito's main weakness is his headstrong personality and inability to speak clearly or access his feelings. This leads to them boiling over and causing problems, or making existing ones worse.
• Idiot Hair: Two thick ones as Kaito.
• Pink Heroine: He's the Pink to Makoto's Blue, but in this case they're both boys.
• Pointless Bandaid: There is always a bandaid on his leg when visible, even in magical boy form. He plays sports and gets into a lot of fights, but that's the only place a bandaid shows up, even if he wasn't particularly doing anything rough.
• The Chosen One: Momo-chan became convinced that he was meant to become a Magical Boy after spending the day with Kaito.
• Tomboyish Ponytail: In Magical form, topped with a bow. It befits his energetic personality.

A new transfer student who Kaito comes across one day after school. Makoto saw Kaito and revealed his identity as a Magical Boy to him and requests Kaito become his partner.

• In Touch with His Feminine Side: Out of all the Magical Boys, Makoto is the only one openly shown to enjoy the frills and cutesy costumes. He's also graceful and proud of his beauty.
• New Transfer Student: Him moving to Yamikumo to protect it kicks off the plot.
• Shrinking Violet: Prior to becoming Rowdy◇Blue. Makoto kept to himself and never spoke to anyone else, but earning his Magical Boy form caused him to gain newfound confidence in himself and he started to speak up more. But he has said that there are times when he still feels a little shy around strangers, and this was why he sought out Kaito to begin with.

The older Hibino brother, Lofty☾Purple first appeared to challenge Pink and Blue as Yamikumo's sole protectors. He initially won, but Pink managed to turn things around and following his defeat, he transferred to Rengoku. He loves videogames.

• Big Brother Instinct: His reason for becoming a Magical Boy in the first place. Even though he doesn't see himself as a good brother, he won't let anyone hurt Haruto. He comes to view Makoto and Kaito as honorary-little brothers after befriending them.
• Delinquent Hair: A blonde spiky ponytail and styled bangs when transformed, but as Akito it's more subdued.
• Idol Singer: Tried to be one to gain popularity following his defeat, but it backfired because nobody liked him.
• Purple Is Powerful
• Put on a Bus: He appeared fairly often and was the star in Vol 4. But he doesn't appear at all in vol 5. Rakuto explains that he's been in Tokimekia repairing the damage done to the castle in the scuffle that occurred in Vol 4. He reappears in Vol 6.
• Sailor Fuku: His Magical Boy costume resembles a stylized variant of one.
• Trademark Favorite Food: Strawberry ice cream

The playful younger brother and partner of Akito.

• Added Alliterative Appeal: His civilian name.
• Annoying Younger Sibling: Akito frequently calls him an idiot and shows exasperation with him. But Haruto admires Akito anyway.
• Beware the Nice Ones: When he sees someone he loves being hurt, he gets dangerous- to both the enemy and the person he was trying to protect. Sometimes he hurts himself in the process.
• Everything's Better with Sparkles: This was why he wanted to meet Glittery Gold and led him to become a Magical Boy. Because he was so sparkly, he thought that he must be a really good person on the inside.
  • It also inspired his Magical Boy name.
• Girlish Pigtails: Big, fluffy ones as Sparkly☆Yellow.
• Put on a Bus: For six chapters, then he reappears in vol 5. In this time he's become good friends with Shinji and hangs out with him.
• Sailor Fuku: His Magical Boy costume is inspired by one, with boots in place of loafers.
• The Ditz

A Magical Boy who led the Guardians, a group of Glittery Gold's followers. It was later revealed that he is Gold's older brother.

• Big Brother Instinct: It's why he ended up becoming a Magical Boy, when Shinji was approached by a Tokimekian with an opportunity.
• Little Bit Beastly: He's a cat-themed magical boy, so he gains ears and a tail.
• Put on a Bus: He hasn't appeared in the manga since chapter 23, with the exception of a colored illustration in vol 6.

A Magical Boy from Prittina who came to invite Kaito to join up with them.

• Added Alliterative Appeal: His current Magical Boy name.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Lily formally worked for Tokimekia as "Pure+Blonde". But his greedy partner overworked him and the physical and mental toll led to an accident after his power failed, nearly costing his life. Then his partner refused to save him after he called for help. From that day, Yuuri turned his back on Tokimekia.
• For the Greater Good: He didn't want other Magical Boys to experience the same anguish and turmoil he's been suffering from, which is why he wanted Tokimekia to be destroyed and thinks "recruiting" its Magical Boys is perfectly acceptable.
• Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: As a Magical Boy he works hard because he loves helping others and making them happy. He became a bit misguided due to poor influence, but he remains very kind and friendly, and views himself as a "pure" hero.
• Hiding Behind Your Bangs
• Shrinking Violet: He's extremely meek and frequently stutters when speaking. This was most-likely why Rakuto took interest in him, knowing he would be easy to manipulate.

Kaito met Red one night while Makoto was sick and they bonded over shared interest, until he discovered that Red was trying to sabotage Makoto so that he could no longer be a Magical Boy.

• Big Brother Instinct: Rakuto has a soft-spot for boys younger than himself.
• Dark Magical Girl: As Charging♠Red when transformed by the Tokimekia trinket. With a gothic lolita inspired costume and long Girlish Pigtails.
• I'm Taking Her Home with Me!: He genuinely came to adore Kaito and wants him for himself. He wants to be able to spoil him with affection.
• Say It with Hearts: When feeling particularly playful, hearts or music notes are added to his speech bubbles. At times it can come off a little creepy.

The first place Magical Boy in the "Crystal Eight" competition every year.

• Added Alliteratve Appeal: As Glittery Gold.
• Hidden Depths: He's a really good artist who designed his own Magical Boy costume. Hearing Yellow compliment it was partially why he came out of hiding to try speaking to the others.
  • It also turns out that he is very athletic, despite not being shown moving around often.
• Put on a Bus: A short one between chapters 23-29, when he reappears to help Kaito train. He is shown to have befriended Yellow/Haruto and they play together.
• Unsorcerer: He wanted to become a magical boy like his older brother Yuichi but discovered that the Transformation Ring didn't work on him. One of the higher-ups of Tokimekia conspired to make him a magical boy nonetheless, by secretly taking crystals created from doing good deeds and hiding them beneath Glittery Gold's throne that transferred their power to him to give him the illusion of immense power.

A young adult whose family has worked for the Kaibara's for years as the watcher of their library.

• Bandaged Face: She always has an eyepatch covering her right eye.
• Dog-Kicking Excuse: Magiru will NOT hesitate to kick or hurt Momo-chan over something she disapproves of. She even stuck her lit cigarette on the talking entity from The Land of Magic for not having a solution for Makoto's problem.
• Hidden Heart of Gold: At first she was annoyed with Makoto for his timid personality and not communicating, until eventually she found out about his interest in magical boys and they warmed up to each other.
• Scary Librarian: Subverted; In Magiru's first introduction she looked to be sickly with messy hair, wearing a hospital eyepatch, crooked teeth and dark eye bags under her other eye, and freckles covering parts of her face and around her shoulders. But in reality she's a nice person.
• Smoking Is Cool: During her first debut.
